RD350

ever since i can remember the RD350 was my favourite bike. i used to watch cops go past my house in the early 1980's and they used to look super riding one and wearing raybans. whatever happened to those cops we had in bangalore!!

i bought a RX100 when i finished school and had it for 14 years. loved my 'yami'. decided to give her away when i got me a car. the biggest mistake ever.

the last couple of days i have been having these urges to pick up a bike. i spoke to some mechanics and there are some old Triumphs and Matchless for sale. havnt found time to go check them out yet.

the i get this call from Sulz. he says can you do me a favour. so i say ya sure. he says he wants to leave his bike at my place for a couple of months. i thought it would be his black activa (a scooter i actually like) but it turned out to be his freaking blue colour RD. i rushed home so he can leave it the basement. it came in gleeing and i was like damn man!!! we parked it and the i said i will drop him back to kora. then the miracle happens, he hands over the keys to me and says use it when you want!!!

i am on top of the world right now. i just pulled out my old helmet and cleaned it. have to take out my jacket as well. i am going to ride it around soon. i am sure the ride will be another blog entry.....
