so i finally made it to the 'america' gig last evening. it looked like i wouldnt and then it just fell in place. went with smita, rajeev, bindu and bruce. drove like a mad man and we reached there half an hour early.
it was a really nice gig. i had a blast listening to songs that i heard way back in school. sandman, tin man, horse with no name, lonely people. they sang some of their new songs and i need to pick up the album now.
after the gig managed to go backstage and look around. the band members are so chilled out, they have been doing this for years now and you could make out that they still love it.
then kababs happened off at gold finch which was brillant. whiskey and kababs are a good combo. first time i ate tandoori guava. super it was.
all in all a good evening.
